Storm by the Seashore
by:
Amy Lowell
(1874-1925)
There is no
moon
in the sky,
But with each step
I see one grow in the sand
Under my feet.
This interests me so much
That I forget the rain
Beating against the lantern
Which my cloak only partially covers.
