To Mother
by:
Nellie Seelye Evans
(????-1929)
As some still saint in cloistered niche
Had walked the world again,
Bearing the incense of sweet deeds
Among the haunts of men;
So does she bless, and, canonized
In calender of home--
Finds each day holy, and low roof
Fair as cathedral dome.
